What to expect after you contact us

We've made the process as simple as possible. Here's exactly what happens.

1

We get back to you (usually within a few hours)

Once you message or call us, we get back to you quickly to say hello and answer any immediate questions you have.

2

We schedule a free consultation

We arrange a convenient time for you to bring your child to our centre. The first meeting is free — it's a chance for us to meet your child and for you to meet us.

3

We assess your child (no tests, just observation and conversation)

Our therapist plays with and observes your child, and talks with you about what you've noticed at home and school. It's relaxed and child-friendly — not clinical or intimidating.

4

We give you our honest view

We sit down with you and explain clearly what we observed, what we think your child needs, and how we can help. In plain language — no jargon. You can ask us anything.

5

We build a plan together

If you decide to go ahead, we create a personalised therapy plan with goals that matter to your family. Sessions start as soon as you're ready.

Common questions about visiting us

Yes, completely free. We don't believe in charging parents just to find out whether we can help their child. The initial consultation is our chance to meet your child, understand your concerns, and explain what we can offer. There's no pressure to sign up for anything.
Just bring your child and yourself. If you have previous reports — from a doctor, school, or another therapist — bring those along too. They're helpful but not required. Don't worry about preparing anything special.
Plan for about 60–90 minutes. This includes time for the therapist to observe and interact with your child, time for us to speak with you, and time to answer your questions.
Yes — both parents, a grandparent, whoever is involved in the child's care is welcome. Often it's helpful for everyone who plays a big role to hear the assessment and ask their questions directly.
Absolutely — our team is experienced with this. Tell us when you book so we can make the arrival as calm as possible. We know what to expect and how to handle it. How your child behaves in a new environment is actually very useful information for us.
Yes, on a case-by-case basis. Home visits are available for certain children where working in their home environment is clinically beneficial. Contact us and we'll discuss whether this makes sense for your child.

The first step is easier than you think

Just say hello. That's all it takes. We'll take it from there.
