Helping children do life, not just survive it

"Occupation" doesn't mean a job. For a child, their occupation is playing, learning, and taking care of themselves. When those things are hard, that's where occupational therapy comes in.

Our occupational therapists work with children to build the skills they need — whether that's writing their name, tying their shoelaces, eating without getting overwhelmed, or paying attention in a classroom.

Every session is play-based and goal-directed. Children don't sit at a desk doing exercises — they play, explore, and build skills through activities they actually enjoy.

Signs your child might benefit from OT

You don't need a diagnosis to reach out. If you've noticed any of these, it's worth having a conversation with us.

Writing & Drawing

Struggles to hold a pencil, avoids colouring or writing, tires quickly, or writing is very messy compared to their peers.

Getting Dressed

Finds buttons, zips, or shoelaces very difficult. Gets upset about certain clothing textures or labels touching their skin.

Using Tools

Difficulty using scissors, spoons, or toys that require two hands working together. Drops things often.

Eating & Mealtimes

Very picky with food textures, difficulty chewing or swallowing, gets overwhelmed at mealtimes or messy hands.

School Struggles

Can't sit still, gets distracted easily, bumps into things, struggles with tasks that require concentration and coordination.

Sensory Reactions

Covers ears in noisy places, refuses certain clothes, doesn't notice when they hurt themselves, or seeks intense physical input.

Our approach to occupational therapy

Three principles guide every session we run.

🎯

Task Analysis

We break each skill into tiny achievable steps — writing, buttoning a shirt, eating with a spoon — so your child experiences success at every stage.

🧠

Sensory Foundation

Before building skills, we ensure your child's nervous system is regulated. A child who is overwhelmed or under-stimulated cannot learn. Sensory work underpins everything.

🏠

Carryover into Daily Life

We embed strategies into your home and school routines — so therapy happens at breakfast, during dressing, and in the classroom, not just in our sessions.

What actually happens in a session?

A lot of parents ask us "will my child just be doing exercises?" — the answer is no. Sessions are fun. Here's what a typical visit looks like:

1

We start with a warm-up

A few minutes of movement or sensory play to get your child comfortable and ready. Think obstacle courses, swinging, or squeezing activities.

2

Goal-focused play activities

The therapist works on specific goals — like pinching, threading, balancing, or cutting — through games and activities your child enjoys. The child doesn't always realise they're doing therapy!

3

Sensory activities (if needed)

For children with sensory differences, we use a sensory diet — a mix of calming and alerting activities to help their nervous system feel regulated.

4

Parent update & home tips

At the end, we always talk to you. We share what we worked on, what progress we saw, and simple things you can do at home to keep the progress going.

"I was surprised how much my son enjoyed his OT sessions. He used to call them his 'fun classes'. After 3 months, he could finally hold a pencil and write his name."
— Parent of a 5-year-old, Ghaziabad

How long before we see results?

Every child is different. Some parents notice changes within a few weeks. For most children, a 3–6 month consistent programme shows clear progress. We review goals regularly and adjust the plan as your child grows.

Home programme

We'll give you simple, 5–10 minute activities to do at home between sessions. These aren't complicated — they're everyday things like playing with clay, practising buttons, or doing a short obstacle course.

Parents often ask us…

Absolutely. You don't need a diagnosis to start OT. If you're worried about your child's development, that's reason enough to reach out. We'll assess your child and tell you honestly whether OT will help.
This is very common! Our therapists are trained to work at your child's pace. We never force anything. The first session or two is just about building comfort — playing together, getting to know each other. Most shy children open up quickly in our space.
We can't give an exact number before assessing your child. But typically, children attend 2–3 sessions per week, and we review progress every 8–12 weeks. Some children need 3 months of OT; others continue for a year or more. We'll always be honest with you about what your child needs.
For younger or anxious children, we encourage parents to be present initially. As your child gets comfortable, we may gently suggest waiting outside — children often relax more when a parent isn't in the room. We'll always include you in the debrief at the end of every session.
Not at all. OT helps children with a wide range of needs — developmental delays, ADHD, cerebral palsy, learning difficulties, sensory processing issues, and more. Even children with no diagnosis who are just struggling with a specific area can benefit.
Yes, on a case-by-case basis. Home visits can be very effective because we can work in the environment where your child actually needs the skills. Contact us and we'll discuss whether a home visit makes sense for your child.

Our son couldn't hold a pencil properly at age 5. Six months later, he's writing his own name and actually enjoys art class. His teacher said the change is remarkable. The home programme the therapist gave us made all the difference.
